Rick Chau joins Compuware as regional sales director for North Asia


Hong Kong - 6 July 2004 - Compuware has appointed Rick Chau to the position of regional sales director, North Asia. Based in Hong Kong and reporting to Steve Jobson - Senior Vice President Compuware Asia Pacific, he will be overseen all of the company's sales programmes and will also be responsible for developing initiatives and building client service capabilities for the North Asia region, including mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Compuware, Chau held a range of senior regional sales and general management positions at Easylink Services Corporation (formerly known as AT&T Easylink), Unisoft, Intershop, Honeywell and Data General.

With a proven track record for successfully building business, he was instrumental in establishing business operations, developing market penetration and implementing initiatives to drive business growth as well as profitability for these companies.

Chau brings more than 20 years of marketing and people management expertise in the region to his new role. A Canadian citizen, he holds bachelor's degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University.
