Compuware extends support for Citrix MetaFrame

Vantage enables organisations to maximise the value and performance of Citrix implementations
Hong Kong - 14 July 2004 - Compuware has announced that the newest version of Compuware Vantage, the company's comprehensive solution for application service management, is extending its support for Citrix access infrastructure software.
Building on its existing strengths in managing the Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite from an end-user perspective, Compuware Vantage offers new capabilities that provide visibility into the interaction of Citrix application workloads with the underlying network and server infrastructure. These combined capabilities enable IT organisations to optimise their Citrix environments to deliver excellent service to the business.
In addition to providing granular insight into the Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server workload, including Citrix network traffic by application and by class of service, Compuware Vantage provides prediction capabilities for the Citrix WAN workload. This type of visibility helps IT professionals balance workloads effectively, eliminate the interference of non-critical traffic while delivering service to the business and make better decisions about infrastructure sizing.
