Compuware named to NASDAQ's Global Select Market
- Inclusion is a mark of achievement and stature
- Compuware recognised as model of leadership and having met highest

- New index will be created to track the NASDAQ Global Select
Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) has been included in the new NASDAQ
Global Select Market. The NASDAQ Global Select Market has the highest
initial listing standards of any exchange in the world based on financial
and liquidity requirements. Prior to the change, the company was listed
on the NASDAQ National Market.
Approximately one-third, or 1,200, of NASDAQ's 3,200 listed companies
qualify for the Global Select Market, which reflects the diversity of
NASDAQ as a whole, in terms of market cap and across industry sectors.
Inclusion in this market is a mark of achievement and stature for qualified
companies, which are considered models of leadership that have met the
most stringent initial financial listing standards ever set by a stock
market.
Beginning 3 July, NASDAQ-listed companies will be classified under three
listing tiers--NASDAQ Global Select Market, NASDAQ Global Market, and
NASDAQ Capital Market. NASDAQ also plans to launch indexes based on these
new tiers.
